Over the past week a huge storm has battered the South West of the UK. The small fishing village of Porthleven, the place where i grew up, saw waves of up to 28ft test the harbour defences. I'm pleased to say that once again, they stood firm. I went out sunrise and sunset for 3 days to capture the images below and thoroughly enjoyed playing the game of "keep the lens dry", an absolute nightmare considering the strength of the wind and the sea spray.
