Porthleven Sunset

Yet another piss poor camera club evening originally in the Cober Valley.  Nothing was happening down there so i decided to have a trip to Porthleven on the way home, only to be greeted with probably the best sunset of the year so far!

So I went out again with the camera club for what was  originally another cursed Wednesday, some of the group couldn't make it but for those that did there was one moment of pure beauty between curtains of grey shitty weather.

Retouching

I did some retouching for the talented Kate Sharp the other day, something that i haven't done for a while.

Porthleven Distracted

So i had to go to Porthleven this evening for a paid job but on the way there i saw the following photo opportunity.  The sky wasn't the best and some photoshop trickery was required to make it even close to posting on the net.

Church Cove

I decided last minute to go out with the camera club at work just locally initially to help some of the less experienced members.  The weather wasn't looking promising and as seems every Wednesday these days, the weather wasn't the best.  After a while I got a bit bored so decided to get my camera out for a quick snap.

I've still been struggling to get out and take some photos lately, more exams and even shittier weather hasn't helped matters much.  So a trip to Porth Naven last night to see whats occurring and try to take advantage of the imminent spring tides.  On arrival it looks busy and this is connfirmed when looking at the beach, there are 5 photographers already set up.  No biggy as i've done the dino eggs on the beach loads of times so off i went to a secret spot.  In the first photo, some of the pools were frozen which must have meant that it was really cold as they are filled with sea water.

The second photo i took after i packed up to go home and was looking for somewhere to have a quick pee :)

Lyme Regis

After months of trying to get there to photograph some of the numerous groynes and curved walls i finally made it one evening last week.  Unfortunately i should have checked the tide beforehand as it was fully out and the sea was far too far away to be included in the shot.  A return trip on a cold Tuesday morning gave me the shot that i wanted.

And a quick one that i took on the previous evening whilst scouting the place.
